There are 5 main stats.
Strength: How strong is your character?
Technique/Accuracy: How accurate is your character. If they are short ranged weapon user, how good at it are they?
Speed: How fast is your character
Endurance: This is important. The longer the endurance the longer your character lasts
Dying Will: Everyone can use dying will but how good are you? The higher you are the purer the flames.
Missions
You do missions to earn points, money, and to improve. There are three rewards for a mission, points which are added to your families fame, money in which you can buy stuff with, and stat points to improve your stats. The more missions you do the higher in rank you rise and the more people are willing to hire you so do more missions.
Family Rank
Every time you do a mission when in a family you earn points of fame. The points of fame are added to your character and your family. When you join a family half of your points of fame are added to the family.
